Adolf Hitler

Býk symbolizuje hrmenie, búrku a Mesiac. V Malej Ázii sa v staroveku prevádzali obrady iniciácie prostredníctvom obet

Adolf Hitler a nacizmus

Narodený 20.4. 1889. Symbol moci, ctižiadostivosti priameho vzostupu a rýchleho pádu.

A výkyvy kruto trestal. Je veľmi pravdepodobné, žepráve detstvo ovplyvnilo jeho neskoršie pôsobenie. Alois Hitler umrel v roku1903.

Economic and Monetary Union and the Euro

Since 1 January 2002, more than 300 million European citizens have been using the euro as a normal part of daily life. It took only 10 years to get from the Treaty of Maastricht (February 1992), enshrining the principle of a single European currency, to the point where euro notes and coins were circulating in 12 EU countries. This is a remarkably short time to carry through an operation that is unique in world history. The euro has replaced currencies that were, for many of the countries concerned, centuries-old symbols and instruments of their

What is this about? Piercing. Everyone knows what that is. It's modifying the body by making holes... or stretching ones. Whatever you want to do. Yes, it can be painful, yes it can be a hassle, but it's all about aesthetics. Some people think them to be beautiful and some people just like the way that the jewelry looks. For some it is also a spiritual experience. Maybe you just like the pain. Maybe you got one because you thought it looked cool and then you became addicted to getting them. You don't have to have piercings to joi

Fashion, garments

Fashion has acquired its contemporary look very slowly. We can say that tailoring a dress is something of an art. Clothes protect us before sun, rain and winter.

In the summer we usually wear t- shirts and short trousers. Woman wears skirts and dresses. A skirt is another important piece of our wardrobe. It can be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, grey, black or white. Along with a skirt we usually wear a t-shirt, a blouse, a shirt, or a shirt with a vest.

Hobbies, free time and life style

There are many types of hobbies. Some of them are rather expensive. For example some Hollywood actors like collecting cars, which is a very expensive hobby. Some of the hobbies are dangerous (rock climbing, bungee jumping or paragliding). Some are romantic and some very time consuming. We can say that hobby is some activity, which we do for our pleasure and we like doing it.

We can spend a free time like we will, for example at home, at the disco, in the bar, in the cinema, in the nature or in the park …

Food

For many people in our country food eating sometimes also cooking, is downright pleasure.

On the whole we eat more than the British or American do and our food is know to be less healthy. The Slovaks are used to eating many floury, sweet and fatty meals, such as dumplings, pastry, fat pork and sausages. Our food should consist of more vegetables, fruit, lean meat, poultry and fish which would supply our bodies with more vitamins and minerals.

In different parts of Britain people have different eating habits.

Slovakia food

Slovakia food and my unhealthy day.

There is no real "Slovak cuisine", that would be known and used all around the world, like the Chinese or Italian. However, there are meals that you would encounter more often in Slovakia than elsewhere in the world.

Potatoes, wheat flour, cow and sheep cheese, cabbage, onions and garlic are the bases of the traditional food in Slovakia.

Although rice does not belong to the crops grown in Slovakia, it is imported and widely used in the modern kitchen.
