Choosing one is an important step in everybody's life. The job market has only odd jobs or seasonal jobs to offer. Various statistics show, that those young people with higher or university education have a better chance of finding a job to their satisfaction. Looking for a job is quite a demanding occupation in itself.
There are many resources to help those, who want to find a job. Advertisements in national and local newspapers are one of them. After collecting and evaluating information about a would be job one has to write an application. An inevitable part of the application form is a curriculum vitae, which should contain personal details, work experience, educational background and further training or other skills which are relevant. The aim of the application is to get an interview.
The interview is very important stage in the procedure of getting a job. If the applicant is really serious in their effort to get a job, they must be very careful not only about what they wear and what first impression they make, but also what and how they communicate to the interviewer. The employer and employee sign a work contract, which clearly states the job description, duties, working time, salary and conditions of promotions.
For each of us time means anything else and our daily programmes cannot be the same and be strictly determined in an equal way. Working time is divided into day shifts and night shifts. One shift usually last eight or twelve hours. Each working time depends on employer or company, but some things have employers the same. If they are going to day shift they have to wake up early in the morning, they have to wash themselves, get little breakfast and than when they come back home they have a lunch or dinner and they take a shower. Someone read a book, someone watch TV, listen to radio or do the housework. Then they are going to bed. This is repeated the next day again.
When the employers have a night shift, everything is the same but this time it is inverted. The other point about spending our time is effective set-up of a day. Time is very valuable and fast-running thing, so we shouldn’t waste it. I try to keep this „rules“: Do the most important things first. Secondly, don’t plan many things to do as you can be then disappointed when you don’t realise them. And the last one: do one thing after you had finished the previous one. But of course, even if we make a good plan for a day, we can’t avoid stress situations at work, at home or even in a bus while travelling somewhere. Well, we, in these situations, should stay calm, not be angry with someone for no reason and try to solve the problem together. There are also different techniques to get rid of stress. Somebody, for example, relaxes by listening to music, reading or doing some sport activity and somebody else may try things like yoga or meditation. Each of us has to find his own method to get into right mood.In summary, I could say that we, ourselves, are Masters of our own time, so it is always up to us what we work out of it.
