NOSE
poke somebody nose into – to be interested in or try to becomeinvolved in something which does not concern you, to interteve in something

look down one´s nose – to think, that you are better than somebody else, to think, that something is not good enough for you

pay through the nose – to pay an exorbitant (big) prize
put someone´s nose uot of joint – to offend someone

under someone´s nose – something very close to you or them but they cannot see it.

HAND
have your hands full with – to be very busy

be a good hand at doing something – to be skillful

be an old hand at doing something – somebody who is skillful at doing something longer

give someone a big hand – to make a big applause
give/lend a hand – to help/assist to somebody
get out of hand – when something gets out of control

have a matter well in hand – have something under control / opposite of “get out of hand“

at second hand – previously owned by somebody else

give somebody a free hand – to help somebody with something he is doing, especially in bad or illegal meaning

on the one hand/ on the other hand – used for giving two different opinions about something

play into somebody´s hand – to do something, that helps someone that you are competing against
