Albin Brunovsky: Biography

(1935-1997)
Worked in graphic art, painting, illustration, stage set and poster design. Brunovsky was one of the designers of Czechoslovak banknotes and stamps.
Chronology of Studies:
1951-1956- Secondary School of Applied Arts, Bratislava, spec. graphic design
1956-1961- Academy of Fine Arts (VSVU), Bratislava. Studied free graphics and illustration under prof. Vincent Hložník

Between the years 1963-1966, Albin Brunovsky became the assistant of prof. Hlozník at the VSVU and in 1967, became a professor in the Department of Graphic Art and Book Illustrations.
