Dracula
(Abraham "Bram" Stoker)

Jonathan Harker was a lawyer and he lived in
London. He's telling a story, what happened to him and
his friends, seven years ago. Part of his work is to find
houses in England for rich people who lived in foreign
countries. At the beginning of 1875 he received a letter
from Transylvania, a country in Eastern Europe. The
letter was from a rich man called Count Dracula. He
wanted to buy a house near London. Jonathan found
the house and Dracula had to signed many papers, so
he invited Jonathan to his castle. But Jonathan was
going to married in the autumn with Mina, he asked her
and she agreed.
So Jonathan left England at the end of April.
He reached Dracula's castle on 4th May. Dracula invited
him and showed him his room. They were talking
every day all night long and that seemed Jonathan very
queer, because he didn't see Dracula during the day.
Dracula was asking him again and again about
England, and Jonathan wanted to leave the castle. If he
asked Dracula to leave, he didn't want to hear about it.
Jonathan wrote a letter to Mina, that he arrived on 29th
June. In the middle on July Mina was invited to stay
with her friend Lucy West. Lucy and her husband,
Arthur, lived in a little town of Hythe, by the sea.
Arthur was in Amsterdam with old teacher Professor
Van Helsing (Abraham Van Helsing). Mina arrived to
Hythe and in the same time Dracula's ship came to
England. One night Lucy wasn't in her bed. Mina found
her alone in a churchyard and she looked ill. Dracula
bit her, but she didn't know it. She saw two red marks
on Lucy's throat. A few days later Mina received a
letter from Jonathan to visit him at Budapest. They
were married on 1st September in Budapest. One day
they received a letter from Arthur, that Lucy is dead.
Mina and Jonathan traveled to Hythe to visit Arthur.
Arthur told them about Lucy's death. Professor Van
Helsing found that Dracula was drinking her blood and
she became a vampire. Professor, Arthur and Jonathan
went to Lucy's vault and killed her by cutting her head.
They decided to found Dracula's castle a kill him
forever. The next day they went to castle, it was dark
night when they reached the castle. They found his
coffin, but it was empty, they found another coffins
filled with earth too. They were hallowing that terrible
place when Dracula came. He was angry, he only said,
"You can't stop me" and flew away. They quickly
traveled to Mina, because they assumed that Mina was
in danger, but when they arrived Mina was drinking
Dracula's blood. When they opened the door Dracula
was away. Professor said: "We must stop Dracula
before it will be to late and Mina will be a vampire
forever". Next day in the morning, they caught train to
Transylvania, because Dracula went there few hour ago
and they must be there before him. When they arrived,
Dracula was sleeping in his coffin already. Professor
took long sharp stake and stabbed his heart, then he cut
his head and Dracula has changed into a dust
immediately. Now at last Mina was saved.

What can I say or write about this book? It´s only that I liked it especially on behalf of the action side. The
most interesting part in this book was a part about Dracula´s death where were some nice elements of horror. I think
that sometimes I will read this book again.
