He Played for Topolčany, Trnava and Dukla Trenčín in Slovakia. Edmonton`s sixth pick in the 1993 draft, he came to North America from Dukla Trenčín in Slovakia. 1993-1994 and scored 24 goals in 25 games for Cape Breton (AHL). He played for Edmonton Oilers (NHL) from 1994 to 1997. Miro has played for Buffalo Sabres (NHL) for five years and he still plays there now. He is called “Sarky, sets”. He is the best player the of the team. He has played for Slovakia. He is a captain of the team. He played the Championships in 1996, 2000, 2002. Miroslav was the best player of Championships in 1996, 2000, 2002. In 2000 Slovak team won the silver medal and in 2002 won a gold medal. Slovak hockey players became the world champions.
