This event happens every year on 31st December. It's an event when we welcome New Year. The event has been celebrated for a very long time in the past and it is a tradition today. This New Year's Eve I was at our cottage in "Lužické mountains" with my parents. I am connected with it as equally as anyone, because it's a very famous event and my parents respect it and so I can do all the things, about which I write there. When this event happens people often drink, sing, play games, but especially people are nervous and impatient from the New Year. All the people don't go to bed earlier then about one or three o'clock of the first day in the New Year - 1st January. Later when the midnight arrives, people drink to their health and go out to launching squibs. If they are rich, the fireworks are wonderful and very long. When they finish it, children usually must go sleep and adults talk and talk jokes long to the night. I like this event, because I have Christmas holiday. But it isn't the main reason. I like it, because we are mostly with our friends or acquaintance people. And so we can talk with them about our experiences and so on.
