My grandfather’s life was very difficult. When he was in my age, the Second World War was starting. His father was a miller, so my grandfather brought the bread to guerrilla forces, which had a base in nearby forest. Everyone helped to guerrilla forces. His parents were hiding the prisoners who run away from the concentration camps in their own house.
At the end of World War II my grandfather had to work in the antitank ditch for Germans. He went to school every day 12 kilometres on a bicycle in each weather. He had to help his parents in the field and take care of their domestic animals. He lived in the simple conditions. In this time weren’t any cell phones, computers and televisions. Now I live in a different age. Now everyone has a cell phone and computer. Fortunately it isn’t war now.
But often there are some terrorist attacks, attempts or some natural catastrophes. A lot of people die too. We don’t have to work so hard. We don’t have to take care about domestic animals or work in the field. We can buy many things. I go to school by car, or bus. Sometimes I ride my bicycle, but only when the weather is nice. My grandfather’s parents or grandparents had even more difficult life than my grandfather.
